A short introduction of Kirsi:

At the moment I work professionally organizing dog shows.

Organizing dog shows started back on 1995 when I had a chance to take place in the organizing committee of Oulu international show... Few years after that I was chosen to be the show instructor of the kennel district. Working as a show secretary was more than a hobby for me for many years.

My "own show" was Sawo Show - big three day show event held in August every other year in Kuopio. Photo is from the Sawo Show 2004. I'm in traditional costum on the background... Later I have been giving up committee work, difficult to have shows both hobby and profession at the same time.

I have been working as a ring steward since 1988 and I still try to do so couple times a year.

On 2004 we started a business organizing dog shows - doing catalogues for shows and taking care of advertising etc... 2007 a lot of things happened - we decided to quit our own company and started working for Show Media, which is company owned 100 % by the Finnish Kennel Club. We continued with a new company name - Showlink since that. From the beginning of 2008 - I have been working as Showlink's directing manager.
