Andre van den Broek
I’m already involved in dogs since 1968 when I started with a whippet.
Due to the fact that I wanted to explore my interest in dogs I succeeded to become a judge for whippets in 1981. During that time my attention was drawn to the pharaohound (the first picture from this breed I saw in a magazine called “The Gazehound”) and in 1982 I bred my first litter with the affix “Of the Netherlands”.
In this breed I have been very successful; breeding BIS and big-winners and exported to several countries including USA. In fact one of my males was used for breeding into the UK. (done by frozen semen which was unique in those days because one needed the approval from the Eglish Kennel Club and the Ministry of Agriculture).
I also got involved in borzois in handling, co-owning and co-breeding with lots of success in the past (Gustopsowaya’s botzois) and at the moment with “Modnyabistru” borzois.
My interest resulted in expanding my judging-license more and in 1982 I became a judge for saluki’s and one year later for greyhounds.
Then other breeds followed and in the year 2000 I became a group-judge.
I have been judging in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Letland, Norway, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Tsjechien and of course Holland.
This judging includes several sighthound and breed-specialties including the world famous show in Tammsvik in 2000.
Besides sighthounds and the mediteranean breeds I’m also a judge for Dobermann, Schnauzers and Dachshund.
I’m really looking forward to judge again in Finland.

Rony Doedijns
My name is Rony Doedijns. I was born in the Netherlands in 1966. I am involved in the Dog World now for about 26 years. My own breed is Finnish Spitz and Tibetan Terriers. When I was 15 years old I received from my parents my first pedigree dog. This was a Finnish Spitz male puppy bred in Holland. I started showing him and I always say that my first Finnish Spitz Bjorn was responsible for getting me so deep in the Dog World.
As a junior he won many BOB’s and was also very successful in the group. He often was selected and won several groups. Many times under specialist judges from Scandinavia. As it goes I imported a Finnish Spitz bitch from Finland and during the years I imported several Finnish Spitzes from the country of origin Finland. Then I started breeding Finnish Spitz. I owned or bred several Dutch and international champions, European Champions and FCI World Champions in Finnish Spitz.
I started my studies at the Dutch Kennel Club for becoming a Dog Judge. In Europe and especially in the Netherlands the judges training is though. Before you are allowed to do the breed exams, you have to pass three types of exams. This study will take about five years. After passing for these three exams you have to do a breed exam for every breed you want to judge at Championship Show Level. The different breed clubs organize the exams. I am now passed as a group judge, allowed to judge all breeds in that group at championship show level, in FCI groups 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7,8, 9 and 10. I have judged Best In Show at several international shows in the Netherlands.
I have judged in most of the European Countries, UK, Scandinavia and in the USA and in 2007 I am judging in Indonesia.
For more then 26 years I am a member of SCANDIA that is the breed club for Scandinavian Spitzbreeds in the Netherlands.
Occasionally I am doing the commentary at the main ring at dog shows in the Netherlands I am one the speakers at the International Winner Show in Amsterdam.
In the Netherlands I am secretary of the Judges Subcommittee this organization is a formal partner in monitoring the examination of dog show judges.
I am chairmen of the Tibetan Terrier Club in the Netherlands.

Leo van Os
My name is Leo van Os, married and we have 3 children. Already before my wedding with my wife Truus, it was clear we would have dogs in our life. Truus wished a Boxer and as we in 1967, still in that time with our two children from apartment building moved in a house, become the family her first boxer with name Anatevka. She was a daughter of Ch Vin Grand van Cynodictia, in that time a very famous boxer kennel in Holland, owned by Mr and Mrs Onderwater. Tevka was a very feminine dark brindled bitch, well musculared with a strong body and a very nice temperament. Something of type was missing in her head. She become almost 13 years old. The bitch we all recall to, with satisfaction, and we will never forget her name. She was even the beginning of the kennel Van Het Slaghek. In 1969 we started our boxer breeding and we had boxers for more than thirty years. In all those years, we bred and showed nice boxers with character and we had mostly 5 boxers in our house. Our most famous boxer was Bandelero, Netherlands-, Belgium-, Int Champion and Atibox Sieger. A daughter from him was Gloria van het Slaghek, exported as a puppy to Finland and she became Finnish-, International Champion and Atibox Sieger.
In that time, our daughter Marieke came over officially in our kennel and it was she who showed at that time our dogs in Europe. Later on we started, even with good success, the breeding of British Bulldogs and the last five years we bred also French Bulldogs.
We all are Dutch and live since 5 years in a village in Belgium, named Oostham.
In 1975 I got international licence to judge the Boxers and since that time I have judged regularly boxers on CAC, CACIB shows in Holland and Belgium. After 10 years, about 1985 I got my licence to judge also the Doberman.
Because I started in a new profession and I had to be at college, it was not able, for nearly ten years, to do any study for dogs. After this time I got the licence to judge some other breeds and at the moment I judge as well Boxers and Doberman, Bulldogs, Bullmastiff, Boston Terriers and the whole section Pinschers and Schnauzers.
